Life can teach you things if you are willing to learn. Mostly we learn the hard way, by trial and error, making mistakes and embarrassing ourselves. There are more intelligent ways of learning and those include reading good books, attending webinaars - and taking notes, joining groups and learning with others. But the most important factor is that where you are at now is not important but where you finish is of far greater importance. As we noted in the previous blog - perseverance is always required. I like doing the exercise of asking myself how I would like people to remember me when I die. What would they be speaking about at my funeral? Will they recall what I have done in my life - been a great network marketer, or only what I have done for others and been a true friend and social networker? Will they be sad or relieved that I have gone? In fact there are many, many questions you can ask yourself to check whether you are on track in the life you want to lead. Running away from circumstances will not solve any problems, all it does is make you appear to be instable and unreliable- regardless of the excuses you conjure up.
Each one of us needs to discover our mission in life. Once this passion is discovered you will find that your self confidence grows and so does your motivation. This of course affects the impact you will make with your network marketing. Many people refer to this as the Big Why.
To develop yourself as a person and as a Network Marketer one needs to become a person of discipline, constantly honing you skills; and a person of compassion, going out of your way to learn more about people and the reasons they act or think in the way they do. When you understand these things judgement is not an option or you will never make friends, sponsor and IBO or anything of that kind- you will just alienate people. Look at the things you can control a,d work with what you do have. Don't worry about what you do not have. Your reality is "TODAY!" and looking forward to a better future and better stats in your Network marketing. Learn to look for all the lessons in life that people throw your way, and learn, learn, learn! Our mistakes will then add up to victories, and become the stepping stones to a brighter tomorrow.
